The packed Wankhede stadium have already got their money's worth having watched Kohli get his third double century and Jayant looking good for his maiden Test ton as the hosts dominated the morning session.

Jayant has been the aggressor in the partnership which has crossed 200 runs from just 291 balls after the Haryana right-hander lofts Rashid over mid-on for a  four. He takes a single from the last ball of the over to take his score to 90.

Yadav takes his score to 91 to register the highest score by an Indian batsman at No. 9, going past Farokh Engineer's previous record of 90, against New Zealand at Chennai in 1965.

This is also the highest ninth-wicket partnership for India in Tests, beating the previous record created by Kumble and Azharuddin, who put on 161 runs, in 1996-97 at Kolkata.

Meanwhile, Kohli punches a full delivery from Chris Woakes straight down the ground past mid-on for a four.
