India 604-7 (176 ovs) vs England 400 | Scorecard

Pacer Chris Woakes to start with the ball for England after the lunch interval. Three singles from the first four balls before Jayant is struck on the helmet as he looks to duck under a bouncer. Kohli plays a nice drive through the covers for two runs.

Leg-spinner Rashid from the other end. He looks to bowl it wide of the leg stump on the rough and tie down the two right-handers. Rashid is getting a lot of turn and bounce as Jayant is beaten by one and even the wicketkeeper misses it to get four runs behind the wicket. He takes a single from the last ball to take his score to 98 and also retain the strike for the next over.

Woakes bowls some good bouncers and has troubled the Indian top order batsmen earlier in the series as well. He starts his new over with another good bumper as Jayant sways out of the way at the last minute before he takes one off the third ball to move to 99 and Kohli hands him the strike back again with a run to thirdman.

He steers the fifth ball to thirdman for a single to bring up his maiden century in Test cricket in just his third match at the highest level.

The Haryana all-rounder took 196 deliveries to get to the landmark, having hit 14 boundaries in total and was instrumental in India dominating the morning session, which allowed Kohli to take his time to get his eye in.

Time to cut loose looks like as Kohli slams a wide delivery from Woakes over the off-side field for a four to take India past the 600-run mark, in the 176th over, while the lead also crosses the 200-run mark.

Another couple of bouncers from Woakes to Jayant, who is happy to see it go through to the keeper.
