Australia all-rounder Shane Watson is next up with a base price of Rs. 2 crore.

He has a good record in the IPL playing for Rajasthan Royals and recently hit a century for Australia in the third T20I against India.

Royal Challengers Bangalore enter the fray for the first time today but meet stiff resistance from Pune Supergiants.

In no time, the price has doubled to Rs. 4 crore and the frenzy continues.

Pune are not willing to back down either as in a matter of a few minutes, RCB take the bid to Rs. 5.5 crore.

Mumbai Indians come into the picture with a new bid of Rs. 6 crore but no holding back RCB, who take it to Rs. 7.5 crore.

Mumbai take it further to 8 crore but RCB continue to bid aggressively as the price goes up to 8.5 crore.

RCB take it to Rs. 9.5 crore before Mumbai decide to pull out.

So, Watson has gone for a massive Rs. 9.5 crore after starting against his base price of Rs. 2 crore.
