So, Australia's veteran all-rounder Shane Watson was the highest among the Marquee List with a massive selling price of Rs. 9.5 crore to Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Yuvraj Singh
was the second best with Rs. 7 crore, bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad, who also bough veteran Ashish Nehra for Rs. 5.5 crore.

Ishant Sharma was bought by new team Pune Supergiants for Rs. 3.8 crore, who also bought former England captain Kevin Pietersen for Rs. 3.5 crore.

Dale Steyn and Dwayne Smith went for an identical Rs. 2.3 crore, bought by new team Gujarat Lions.

But surprisingly, New Zealand's batting sensation Martin Guptill and Australia's T20 captain Aaron Finch, both of whom who have done well at the international level recently went unsold.

Meanwhile, Delhi Daredevils have not made a single bid in the opening round. Are they asleep? What are they waiting for?
