Leg-spinner Seekkuge Prasanna comes into the attack in place of Senanayake, who bowled three overs for 18 runs.

Dhawan looks to sweep a full delivery but is struck on the pads as a confident appeal for LBW is turned down. He is trying to unsettle the spinners with the sweep shot but so far has not been very convincing.

Chameera generating good pace and getting some bounce too. Rahane pulls a short ball through square leg and picks two runs followed by a single off the next. India keep the scoreboard moving as they pick three singles from the next three balls as gently cruise towards the target.

Left-arm spinner Milinda Siriwardana comes into the attack. Two singles from the first two balls before Dhawan reverse paddles it fine for a four followed by three more singles to make it nine runs from the over.

Medium pacer Asela Gunaratne is called into the attack. He makes a tidy start, conceding just four runs as India are content to play it safe.

India are cruising towards victory as they reach 58 for one in 10 overs, needing another 25 from the remaining 10 overs for victory.

Dhawan is looking in control on 28 from 31 balls, while Rahane is on 14 from 16 balls.
