SL 54-6 (10 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Spin from both ends as part-timer Yuvraj Singh comes into the attack. The third ball is a high full toss as Shanaka hoists it over midwicket for a six and the umpires call it a no-ball, gifting Sri Lanka a free hit.

Shanaka makes most of the free hit, lofting it straight back over the bowler's head for another six, to make it 13 runs from one delivery.

Just when they were looking to get their innings back on track, Sri Lanka lose another wicket. And it is the quick reflexes of Jadeja at mid-off which gets the wicket of Prasanna run out for seven to reduce Sri Lanka on 48 for six in eight overs.

Yuvraj went for 15 runs in that over, easily Sri Lanka's best of the innings but that wicket dented them further.

Jadeja has a huge appeal for LBW turned down against Thisara Perera, who is beaten all ends up as he looks to defend.

The ball is turning big as Jadeja squares Shanaka with one that pitched on leg stump and ended up way outside the off-stump beating the right-hander's intended defensive push.

He has no clue to the next two deliveries which again turn a long way past the outside edge of the bat.

All-rounder Hardik is called into the attack. Perera drives the first ball on the leg side for a single and Shanaka does the same off the next for another run.

Two more singles as Pandya makes a tidy start, giving away just four runs.

At the halfway stage, Sri Lanka are struggling on 54 for six in 10 overs with Shanaka on 19 and Perera on three.
