India 35-1 (6 ovs) vs SL 82 | Scorecard

Dhawan being very watchful with his shot selection. After three dot balls from Fernando, he makes a short ball on the leg side, pulling it fine for a four and retains strike with a single from the last ball.

Senanayake continues as Dhawan picks a single from the first ball. Rohit gets into the thick of things as he comes down the track and lofts the second ball over mid-on for a huge six. He again chips down the track but this time the bowler adjusts well and Rohit drives it down the ground for a single.

First bowling change for the visitors as Dushmantha Chameera comes into the attack. The first ball is on the leg side as Rohit helps it round the corner, for a boundary fine on the leg side.

However, the bowler gets revenge from the very next delivery with the wicket of Rohit, who is trapped leg before wicket for 13.

Rohit is caught on the crease to a full straight delivery as he looks to play it across the line but misses it completely.

A glimmer of hope for Sri Lankans as they get Rohit cheaply, however, they don't have much of a score to defend.

Ajinkya Rahane gets off the mark with a splendid boundary, cutting a short wide delivery over the point fielder for a four to get off the mark in some style.

Despite that wicket, India are off to a good start, scoring 35 for one in six overs with Dhawan on 16 and Rohit on four. They need another 48 runs in 14 overs at under 3.5 runs per over.
