ICC 2016 U-19 World Cup final: India vs West Indies

Good morning and welcome to the live coverage of the final of ICC 2016 Under-19 World Cup played between  India and the West Indies at Dhaka, Bangladesh

The West Indies have won the toss and invited India to bat. 

West Indies skipper Shimnor Hetmyer said, "We are going to bowl first, are looking to make use of the early morning conditions"

India Colts look to claim their fourth U-19 world title and are playing in their fifth final. 

The West Indies on the other hand have been finalist in 2004, losing to eventual winners Pakistan. 

The India Colts are on a 15-match winning streak since losing to England in the quarter-final of the previous edition

"We have reached our goal, now we need to achieve that goal," India's U-19 captain Kishan had said ahead of the match. 

The West Indies first stunned Pakistan by five wickets in the quarters and followed it up against host Bangladesh with a thrilling three-wicket win in the semi-final.
