Punjab's young left-arm pacer Barinder Sran will make his international debut. Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni handed him his India cap ahead of the first ODI. A big moment for the young fast bowler!

Meanwhile, Australia also have a couple of fast bowlers making their debuts in Scott Boland and Joel Paris.

Manish Pandey, who hit a half-century in the warm-up ODI match, is preferred ahead of Gurkeerat Mann.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who was rushed to Australia to replace the injured Mohammed Shami, is included in the playing eleven ahead of Ishant Sharma.
