- India 52-1 (10 ovs) vs Aus | SCORECARD

It will be crucial for Rohit Sharma not to throw away his start and look to build a big partnership with Virat Kohli, with India a batsmen short having drafted in five bowlers in the playing eleven.

Paris races through a tidy over, conceding just a single to Rohit with the scoring rate taking a sharp dip following that wicket.

Rohit looking in good touch as he pulls a short ball from Hazlewood behind square on the leg side for three runs. Virat Kohli gets off the mark with a single to fine leg as four runs come from the ninth over.

Paris bowls a couple of freebies to Kohli. The first one is tapped gently in the gap for two runs but he times the next one perfectly off the middle of the bat for a delightful boundary.

The last ball is pitched as Kohli comes forward and dives it straight down the ground for another boundary.

India have made a good start as they reach 52 for one in 10 overs with Rohit on 27 from 28 balls and Kohli 11 from 10 balls.
