- Aus 168-2 (28 ovs) vs India 309-3 | SCORECARD

Ashwin suffering some punishment at the hands of Bailey. The right-hander comes down the track and lofts Ashwin high over long-off for his second six.

Smith joins in the party as he cuts a short ball from Ashwin through the off-side for a four. He comes down the track to the next delivery and lofts it straight down the ground for a six as Ashwin goes for a massive 19 runs in an over, he has given away 48 runs in five overs. This counter-attack has left the Indians stunned with both their spinners suffering.

A desperate Dhoni brings back Yadav, who bowls a tidy over and ends up conceding just five runs.

Another gamble by Dhoni as he introduces part-time medium pacer Virat Kohli into the attack.

He starts with a wide half-volley which Bailey drives past the cover fielder for two runs but is unable that fielder off the next two balls.

Bailey nearly ends up hitting a return catch back to Kohli but it falls just short of him. Two singles from the last two balls make it just five runs from Kohli's first over.

Dhoni must realise that taking wickets is the only way to back into the match, merely bowling tight overs won't help.

Australia have reached 168 for two in 28 overs, with another 142 needed from 22 overs at 6.45 runs per over.
