WI 21-3 (10 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Ishant has four fielders close in on the leg side as he looks to make most of the early movement. Samuels looks to drive one through the off-side as it lobs on the leg side but falls safely. He has had enough of the defending before he throws his bat at the last ball but is beaten completely. West Indies batsmen not showing enough patience and trying to hit their way out, on a difficult pitch.

Blackwood gets an edge off Shami which falls short of Rahul at gully. The next ball is short as the right-hander looks to pull but gets a top edge which goes behind the stumps and over the keeper for a four before he takes a single.

Ishant bowls another no-ball but Blackwood is beaten outside the off-stump as he pokes at a short wide ball.

Sanjay Manjrekar in commentary says the best shot on this kind of wicket is the "leave alone" shot before Blackwood throws his bat at another wide delivery and is beaten. This is really poor and mindless cricket from the West Indies and Sunil Gavaskar rightly calls it "a nothing shot".

Ishant errs again with his line as he strays on the pads and Blackwood helps the inswinger fine on the leg side for a four.

Samuels is yet to get off the mark from 17 balls as he attempts a quick single but Rahane swoops in quickly from gully and nearly creates a run out. The Indians have been quite sharp on the field and not letting go off the pressure they have created courtesy of the early wickets.

Shami tests Samuels with a couple of short balls but he is content to duck under it and is yet to score from 23 balls.

West Indies reach 21 for three in 10 overs.
