India adopted a cautious approach in the first hour of the day, scoring 22 runs from 13 overs before the first drinks break was taken.

Another bowling as pacer Miguel Cummins come into the attack in place of Holder and he also starts with a maiden, to Rahul.

Rahul slaps a short ball from Chase through the off-side to bring up India's 150-run mark, in the 52nd over. He attempts to sweep but misses and there is a slight appeal from the West Indies player but the umpire is not interested.

After a run-less first hour, Pujara trying to be a bit busy now. He flicks a full delivery from Cummins through midwicket for two runs as India's batsmen are looking to keep the scoreboard ticking.

Rahul plays another cracking drive, against the spin, as he hits Chase through the covers for a four to take his score to 94.

Pujara has opened up now and playing more freely. A half-volley on the stumps is driven straight down the ground back past the bowler for Pujara's first boundary of the day.

Two balls later, Cummins cuts him into half with the incoming delivery which moves in sharply and just over the stumps as wicketkeeper Dowrich makes a sensational one-handed diving save to his left.

India have scored at just over two runs per over this morning, with only 37 runs coming from 18 overs so far.

Rahul gets a thick outside edge which goes behind point for two runs to take his score to 96.

He brought up his hundred in grand style, coming down the track to Chase and lofting him over midwicket for a six.

Rahul took 182 balls to get to the landmark, hitting 12 fours and a six. This is his third Test century and he made most of the opportunity as he was drafted into the side in place of the injured Murali Vijay.
