Right-arm pacer Shannon Gabriel, who bowled a good spell at the start of Day 2 will start off things in the post-lunch session.

He bowls Rahul with a beauty, drawing him forward as it passes close to the edge of the bat with the right-hander looking to defend.

A good first over of the session from Gabriel as he starts with a maiden.

Leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo to bowl from the other end. Pujara gets the first run of the second session, taking a single on the leg side from the fourth ball.

Gabriel having Pujara in some trouble with the incoming delivery as he is struck on the pads but is saved by the inside edge.

Rahul goes after Bishoo as he steps out and plays the inside out lofted shot over the covers for a six. This is positive batting from Rahul as he goes to 114 and register his highest score in Test cricket with India reaching 194 for one in 67 overs.

The duo also raise their 100-run stand for the second wicket in that over as India continue to make good progress.

Pujara will be keen not to throw away his start, he has struggled to get going but has battled on without getting affected by his slow strike rate.

West Indies get pacers from both ends as Holder replaces Bishoo, who was hit for a six in his previous over.

The West Indies captain starts with a maiden over to Rahul before Gabriel switches to round the wicket against Pujara, looking for short balls aimed at the body.

Pujara takes a single before Rahul drives a full ball through the covers for two runs.

India will need to show some initiative in the middle session and look to keep the scoreboard moving and consolidate their position in the match to give his team the lead.

Gabriel pitches it right up as Pujara punches it down the ground past mid-on for a four to bring up India's 200, in the 70th over.
