SA 134-3 (12 ovs) vs Eng |  Scorecard

This is relentless from South Africa as new batsman AB de Villiers also decides to get going early on in his innings.

Leg-spinner Rashid suffers as AB hits him for two consecutive sixes over the leg side but the spinner gets revenge with the big scalp. AB comes down the track for another big hit through the leg side against the spin but gets a thick outside edge and is caught on the off-side for 16.

The two spinners bowling in tandem but the flow of run continues. Amla ensuring that the dismissal of AB does not affect the momentum as he heaves Ali over midwicket for another six, which brings up his fifty, from just 25 balls, having slammed seven fours and three sixes.

At the halfway stage, South Africa looking on course for a massive score as they reach 125 for two in 10 overs with Amla on 54 from 25 balls and Faf du Plessis on three.

Rashid finally manages to send down a tidy over, conceding just three singles but despite that his figures read one for 30 in three overs.

The two spinners doing well to bring England back into the contest. Ali strikes with the big wicket of Amla, who looks to hit it across line but fails to make connection is dismissed leg before wicket after a fine knock of 58 from 31 balls, laced with seven fours and three sixes.

South Africa are sitting pretty on 134 for three in 12 overs, scoring at more than 11 runs per over and with a lot of attacking batsmen still to follow.
