Eng 183-4 (15 ovs) vs SA 229-4 |  Scorecard

Medium pacer Chris Morris comes into the attack as Tahir is held back after two good overs. And England get some momentum back as Root hits Morris for a six over thirdman and Buttler getting the last ball through the same region for a four to score 15 runs from Morris's first over.

Duminy starts his third over with a long hop which Roots pull over midwicket for a four. Later in the over he pulls another short ball square on the leg side but Amla makes a good stop on the ropes to keep it down to two. It is a poor over from Duminy as he drops short again as Buttler pulls it square for a six to get 15 runs from the 12th over.

The experienced Steyn, who was hit for 23 runs in his first over, comes back. But his struggles continue as he gives away 12 runs in his second over, including a leg side freebie to Root, which is glanced fine for a four, who races to 43 from 24 balls.

South Africa are desperate for a breakthrough as leg-spinner Tahir is called back for his second spell. He bowls a big wide down the leg side as the keeper fails to collect to give away three wides.

And despite not getting a boundary in Tahir's third over, England still manage to get 10 runs from it to keep their run chase on track.

Root reverse paddles pacer Morris for a six over thirdman for a six to bring up his fifty in some style, from just 29 balls.

England are 183 for four in 15 overs, needing 47 runs from the last five overs for victory.
