- India 150-2 (17 ovs) vs WI | SCORECARD

West Indies make the breakthrough with the wicket of Rahane, who holes out at deep midwicket after a good innings of 40 from 35 balls. A short ball from Russell but Rahane could not get enough elevation as he walked back after a good partnership of 66 runs from 50 balls for the second wicket to lay the foundation.

A good over from Russell, conceding six runs while picking up the wicket but to the Indians fans' delight, captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni walks out to the middle.

Dhoni resorting to some fancy shots as shuffles across and paddles medium pacer Brathwaite over short fine leg for his first four followed by two runs through the off-side. He looks keen to go on the attack right from the start.

Brathwaite attempts a slower bouncer as Kohli has enough time to pull through the vacant fine leg region for a four. Two runs from the next ball brings up Kohli's fifty from 33 balls as the Wankhede crowd erupts in unison.

This is Kohli's third half-century in five innings in the World T20 and he looks keen for another big knock here.

India are looking good for a score around the 190-run mark as they reach 150 for two in 17 overs.
