Kolkata 28-4 (6 ovs) vs Gujarat | Scorecard

Praveen Kumar bowls another excellent, a maiden over as Yadav can only watchfully it play it away.

The veteran pacer has excellent figures of two for seven in three overs including a maiden.

Gujarat bring medium pacer Dwayne Smith to take advantage of the early bounce and movement.

The first ball from Smith bounces a bit extra and strikes Shakib high on the gloves but goes on the bounce to the wicketkeeper.

He strikes a few deliveries later with Suresh Raina at first slip producing an unbelievable catch. The Gujarat captain dived to his left and plucked it out of mid air just when the ball looked to have passed him as Yadav looked to ramp it over the keeper and slips. Why on earth would you attempt such a shot on a wicket offering so much help for the pacers and your team in such dire straits?

Yadav walks back for four as KKR are reduced to 24 for four in the sixth over.

New batsman Yusuf Pathan decides to counter attack as he throws his bat at the first delivery and somehow gets it over the fielder at extra cover for a four.
