England 150-0 (52 ovs) & 537 vs India 488 | Scorecard

Ashwin has bowled with a slightly different action on Day 5, bowling a bit side on and trying to use his body at bit more than normal. He has been able to keep the two batsmen quiet by looking to bowl a tight line.

Change at the other end as Umesh Yadav replaces Shami. India have employed 7-2 field against Hameed, who plays out a maiden over as the pacer keeps it outside the off-stump as just 20 runs have come from the first 10 overs on Day 5.

Meanwhile, Cook gets a rare boundary as he cuts a short ball from Ashwin behind point for a four. He then gets a bottom edge as he looks to sweep and the England captain is lucky that the ball falls between two fielders at midwicket and mid-on.

Hameed goes after a wide delivery but ends up getting an outside edge for a boundary past the slips for a four.

The England opener is hit on the pads off the last ball as the Indians go up in appeal but it is turned down by umpire Kumar Dharmasena. The Indians decide against taking the DRS and rightly so as the replays show that the ball got an inside edge and might also be slipping down the leg side.

The first hour has been quite lacklustre with both teams not willing to make the first move. England have scored just 36 runs from 15 overs at just over two runs per over to reach 150 for no loss in 52 overs, to swell their lead to 199 runs.

On the other hand, India have been content to keep things and just look to stop the flow of runs and hope England's batsmen throw their wickets away in search for quick runs.
