They trail by only 12 runs now. Ashwin will resume on 57, while Jadeja is on 31.
England will also be happy with the way they fought back to claim the wickets of Pujara, Rahane, Nair and Kohli in quick successions.
Rashid was pick-of-the-bowlers for England picking three wickets.
