TEA - DAY 2

India 456-3 (147 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

The bowlers are also getting tired as Kohli smashes a wide delivery from Neesham through the covers for a four.

Will India go for the runs or take it easy till the tea break and then launch an assault in the post-tea session?

As of now, they seem content to play for tea and come back refreshed after a small break.

At tea on Day 2, India have reached 456 for three in 147 overs, having scored 98 runs in 30 overs in the post-lunch session and importantly without losing a wicket for the third straight session.

Kohli was flawless as he literally eased his way to 207 from 363 balls, hitting 19 fours, without never having to accelerate as he collected the runs easily with a lot of ones and twos.

On the other hand, Rahane grew in confidence after a shaky start to be unbeaten on 161 from 342 balls with the duo putting on an unbroken stand of 356 from 688 balls for the fourth wicket.
