India 299-3 (98 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

Rahane had a few problems with the short deliveries on Day 1 and no surprise that Henry tries the same tactics again.

But this time Rahane is ready and waiting as he pulls a short ball square on the leg side for a four to take his score into the 90s.

Henry bowls another bouncer as Rahane ducks under it but he is struck on the helmet off the next ball as he can't get out of the way of another short ball which doesn't rise as much. The ball hits the protection of the back of his helmet as the physio comes out to attend but he is okay to continue after a few minutes.

As expected, the next ball is again short and this time Rahane pulls it and gets a top edge which goes fine on the leg side for two runs. The next ball is pulled square this time for a single to deep square leg.

Henry bowls it full to Kohli, who steers it through the vacant thirdman region for a four.

Kohli makes it back to back fours as he plays a cracking straight drive off the first ball of the pacer's next over. He then throws his bat at a wide delivery for a single to the sweeper fielder. The last ball is short but outside the off-stump as Rahane lets it go through.
