Kohli, Rahane hit centuries to take India to 358-3 at lunch

India had another profitable session as they cruised to 358 for three in 117 overs at the lunch break. They scored 91 runs in 27 overs in the morning session as both Kohli and Rahane batted through for the second straight session.

Kohli was flawless with the bat as he eased his way to 149 from 271 balls, while Rahane came through a hit on his helmet to score 124 from 154 balls with the duo putting on an unbroken stand of 258 from 487 balls for the fourth wicket.

India will look to push the scoring in the post-lunch session and hope to cross 500 before putting New Zealand into bat for an hour or so before stumps.
