India 510-5 (160 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

Boult ends Rahane's long vigil at the crease as the right-hander is caught behind by wicketkeeper BJ Watling after a dogged innings of 188 from 381 balls, having hit 18 fours and four sixes.

Rahane was unlucky to miss out on a double century but he showed great commitment to the team's cause as he went for the big hits when he could have easily taken ones and twos and cruised to the landmark.

Ravindra Jadeja sent in ahead of Ravichandran Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha as India look for a few quick runs.

He is struck on the pads right in front off the first ball he faces but he is saved by a thin inside edge, how close was that!

Boult can't believe it and he suffers more pain when Jadeja lofts the fourth ball over mid-on for a four to get off the mark.
