New Zealand's bowlers doing well to keep the Indian batsmen at bay and not give away the boundaries with both Jadeja and Rohit throwing their bats at everything.

The Indians in the dressing room have all changed to their white and a declaration looks imminent. The hosts would be looking to reach around the 550-run mark and give New Zealand around 8-10 overs to survive on the second day.

Some controversy out in the middle as Jadeja is penalised for running on the pitch as India are docked five runs as penalty. He hit the shot and ran straight down the middle of the pitch and umpire Bruce Oxenford immediately issues another warning. He was earlier warned by Kumar Dharmasena for the same.

Rohit approaching his fifty as he cuts a short ball from Henry past point for a four to move into the 40s. He clips the next ball behind square for two runs to take the score to 550 (not including the five penalty runs).

Henry bowls a full toss which Rohit hits down the ground for a straight six to bring up his fifty, from 62 balls.
