Umesh Yadav strikes in his very first over with the wicket of Martin Guptill, who is bowled for a duck.

Yadav got the ball, which pitched on middle and off-stump, to move away enough to beat the right-hander, who played down the wrong line, trying to defend it from inside the line without moving his feet. That was a beautiful delivery!

He produces another special delivery to go past the edge of the bat of Kane Williamson, who then steers it to thirdman to get NZ off the mark with a single.

The in-form Tom Latham gets off the mark in style, driving an overpitched delivery nicely through the covers for a four, which also brings up his 1000 runs in ODIs from his 40th match.
