India 22-1 (8 ovs) vs NZ 242-9 | Scorecard

Boult has started off brilliantly, bowling two back to back maiden overs. Infact, except for a four in his first over, no runs have been scored off his remaining 17 deliveries.

Henry is taken off after going for 11 runs in his previous over as he makes way for the experienced Tim Southee.

Rohit turns the second ball on the leg side for a single before he keeps strike with one from the last ball.

Boult is finally rewarded for his superb bowling as he gets Rohit caught behind the wicket for 15. Bowling from round the wicket, Boult got the right-hander to come forward and poke at a wide outswinger which took the edge through to the wicketkeeper.

Rohit looked in a lot of pain immediately after the catch was taken as the physio came out to attend him. It seems he suffered some pain in his left arm and the journey back to the dressing was a painful one for the Mumbai batsman.

Out walked Virat Kohli to a huge cheer from his home crowd and he gets off the mark with a single on the leg side.

Meanwhile, Rahane continues to defend solidly, blocking out the remaining five deliveries of the over.

Boult has amazing figures of one for five in four overs, including two maidens, with India reduced to 22 for one in eight overs.
