Williamson hits century but India keep NZ in check

NZ 202-3 (40 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Anderson takes the risk as he walks across the stumps and lofts Mishra in the big gap over midwicket for a four.

New Zealand collect another four singles in the over to get eight from the 37th over.

This will be the time New Zealand will look to push the accelerator and increasing the scoring rate. They will obviously be targetting a score of around the 275-run mark.

Williamson, who is struggling with pain in his arm, also decides to go on the attack as he lofts Pandya down the ground over mid-on for a four.

But Pandya manages to come back well after that boundary, giving away just a single in the rest of the over.

Bumrah also sends down a tidy over, giving away just five runs with New Zealand still content to bat steadily. Perhaps they are waiting for the last 10 overs to go on an all out attack.

Fast bowlers from both ends as Yadav comes back into the attack with Dhoni not wanting his spinners to bowl in the Powerplay overs.

India have done well to keep New Zealand with just 26 runs coming in the five overs of Powerplay between the 35th and 40th over.
