NZ 158-4 (56 ovs); Target: 434 | Scorecard

A change in the bowling for India as Yadav replaces Jadeja, who has bowled 20 overs for 20 runs, including nine maidens, in this innings. He has a confident appeal for leg before wicket turned down against Ronchi off the last ball as it looked slightly down the leg side.

In the next over, Santner pulls a short ball from Ashwin through midwicket for a four. A few deliveries later Ronchi chips down the track and lofts Ashwin over mid-on for another four as the Kiwis look to score some runs after a slow start in the morning.

Yadav nearly foxes Ronchi with the slower ball as he looks to loft it down the ground but mistimes and still ends up getting it over mid-on for a four.

Jadeja comes back to replace Ashwin as he hits the first ball through the point region for two runs and then drives the next through the covers for three runs.

Santner slog sweeps the last ball over midwicket for a six as New Zealand's batsmen decide to open up and score some runs on a pitch which seems to have eased up.

Ronchi has changed gears as he flicks pacer Yadav over midwicket for a four  to take New Zealand past the 150-run mark, in 55 overs.

He then smashes one straight back past over Jadeja for a four to take his score to 80, having hit nine fours and a six in his 116-ball knock. That also raises the 100-run stand from 207 balls for the fifth wicket with Santner as the duo continue to frustrate the Indians.

New Zealand have scored 39 runs from the last six overs to take their score to 158 for four in 56 overs.
