Shami's double strike reduces NZ to 205-7 at lunch

At the lunch interval on Day 5, New Zealand have reached 205 for seven in 73 overs, needing 229 runs for victory with just three wickets in hand.

Santner is playing a good hand with the bat, unbeaten on 57 from 160 balls at the break and Sodhi is on two.

India bowled a total of 36 overs in the morning session, claiming three wickets for 112 runs.

Ronchi and Santner frustrated India quite a lot during the 102-run partnership in the morning session with the former hitting a fluent 80 from 120 balls.

Ashwin is yet to get a wicket on Day 5, but Shami's double strike brought India closer to victory as he claimed the wickets of Watling and Craig with successive deliveries a few overs before the lunch break.
