India 63-1 (14 ovs) vs SL | Scorecard

Off-spinner Dilruwan Perera comes into the attack in place of pacer Pradeep, who bowled five overs for 29 runs.

He strikes with his very first delivery with the key wicket of the in-form Dhawan, who is trapped leg before wicket after scoring 35 from 37 balls.

Dhawan went for the sweep but missed and was hit on the pads but the on-field umpire turned down the appeal. Sri Lanka immediately took the review which showed that the impact was low and the ball would have go on to hit the stumps, as the original decision had to be overturned.

Cheteshwar Pujara gets off the mark with a single before Rahul picks one from the fifth ball.

Left-arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara comes into the attack. He makes a tidy start as Rahul picks a single for the only run of the over.

At the first drinks break on Day 1, India have reach 63 for one in 14 overs with Rahul looking good on 26, while Pujara is on two.
