India 360-7 (98 ovs) vs SL | Scorecard

Lahiru tries a short ball but Pandya is waiting for it as he ramps it over the slips or as you call it in India... the 'Uppar Cut' made famous by Virender Sehwag.

That is the first boundary for Pandya, who would look to get along with things as he clips the next ball on the leg side for one and Kudeep does the same two balls later.

Kuldeep doing well to take the singles and get his eye in. Fernando bowls a beauty to Pandya, getting the ball to shape and beats his defensive shot as the Sri Lankans appeals for caught behind but the ball has brushed the thigh pad.

In the next over, he plays a confident punch for a boundary through the off-side as Lahiru drops short.

No signs of spin yet as Sri Lanka continue with their pace bowlers, looking to get another wicket or two with the second new ball.

Lahiru bowls a quick bouncer to Kuldeep, who ducks under it as the ball sails over with the leg umpire calling it a wide. The left-hander is doing well to block everything and give Pandya company, who is looking to score the runs.

In the next over, Fernando gets Kuldeep to edge but it falls short and goes in the gap between the second and third slip for a boundary.

In the same over, the left-hander is beaten all ends up by the incoming delivery as he is hit on the pads but the appeal for LBW is turned down.
