SL 104-5 (51 ovs) 135 vs India 487 | Scorecard

Ashwin has a confident shout for leg before wicket turned down as Chandimal jumped down the track before looking to defend. A few deliveries later, he again chips down the track and lofts the off-spinner over mid-off for a four, though he was entirely not in control of the shot.

India would surely love him to try a few risky shots like those as it gives them a chance to pick up a wicket or two.

Kuldeep bowls a full toss as Mathews comes down the pitch and hits it down the ground for a six to take Sri Lanka past the 100-run mark, in the 49th over.

Kuldeep makes the breakthrough with the wicket of Chandimal, who is caught at short leg off an inside edge for 36. The Sri Lankan captain tries to turn it on the leg side but gets an inside edge which goes off the pads to Pujara close in on the leg side.

Niroshan Dickwella starts with the sweep but fails to make connection and is hit on the body. The next ball turns big as the left-hander is beaten.
