SL 236-8 (50 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah picked up four for 43 to restrict Sri Lanka to 236 for eight in their 50 overs in the second ODI in Pallekele.

It was another disappointing batting performance by the hosts as except for Milinda Siriwardana (58) and Chamara Kapugedera (40) none of the other batsmen were able to come up with a noteable contribution.

Niroshan Dickwella stroked a quickfire 31 from 24 balls but his wicket saw Sri Lanka lose the momentum before Siriwardana and Kapugedera steadied the ship with a 91-run stand for the sixth wicket.

They managed just 57 runs from the last 10 overs, while just 24 came from the last five overs as Sri Lanka were never able to get going with the bat.

For India, Chahal picked up two for 43, while Axar and Pandya picked up a wicket each.
