India 68-0 (10 ovs) vs SL 236-8 | Scorecard

An early change for Sri Lanka as Fernando is taken off after just two overs with the new ball as he makes way for Angelo Mathews.

The veteran all-rounder makes a tidy start, giving away just two singles in his first over.

But Malinga continues to leak runs. Rohit treats his Mumbai Indians team mate with disdain as he smashes a full delivery over the cover region for a four and then picks a single.

Malinga attempts the slower ball but ends up bowling a full toss which Dhawan clips through square leg for the second four of the over.

Malinga has gone for 32 runs in four overs with India looking strong on 47 for no loss in seven overs, needing 184 runs in 40 overs for victory.

Rohit looking in magical touch as he tries to make up for his poor record in Sri Lanka.

Mathews errs with length slightly and Rohit is quick to pounce as he punches a short ball through the covers for a four to take India past the 50-run mark, in the eighth over.

As expected Malinga is taken off as young fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera comes into the attack.

The second ball is short as Rohit tries to pull but is unable to time it well as it hits him high on the bat.

Four dot balls in a row before Rohit walks across his stumps and paddle scoops the fast bowler over the fine leg fence for a six.

The next ball is short and wide as Rohit flashes hard at it but gets a thick outside edge which flies over the thirdman fence for another six.

Mathews bowls another quiet over, giving away just four runs including a wide, as India reach 68 for no loss in 10 overs.

Rohit has looked in good touch, smashing 43 from 33 balls, while Dhawan has been content to play second fiddle on 20 from 27 balls.
