Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar are the two opening batsmen for Bangladesh while Bhuvneshwar Kumar will bowl the first over.

Tamim gets off the mark with a single from the first ball before Sarkar lets the next ball go through only to see it pass close to the stumps.

The umpire having a chat with Bhuvi regarding stepping on the danger area in his follow through. He switches to round the wicket and immediately beats Sarkar with one that moves away from the left-hander.

Ishant Sharma to bowl the second over. Tamim plays a good drive on the off-side but Umesh Yadav does well to put in the dive at mid-off and save the boundary.

India move the third slip fielder to extra cover and guess what, Tamim edges the next ball and it goes in the exact gap where the fielder was taken off from. Captain Kohli immediately shows his disgust at the move which would have resulted in a wicket and no wonder he goes back to third slip.

The last ball is a full and this time Sarkar gets it off the middle as he plays a nice drive through the covers for a four.

Tamim shuffles across and flicks Bhuvi from outside the off-stump through midwicket for three runs. Sarkar is squared up off the next ball as he gets a leading edge but it falls short of the fielder at poi but he manages to play out the rest of the over.

Three good balls from Ishant just outside the off-stump to Sarkar before he drifts on the pads which is flicked through the leg side for a four.

With three fast bowlers in the team, it remains to be seen when Kohli will bring on his spinners.

Ishant bowls a short wide delivery outside the off-stump as Sarkar gets low and ramps it over the slips for a four. Later in the over, he beats the left-hander which straightens after pitching as he pokes at it.

Bhuvneshwar bowls the first maiden of the innings to left-hander Tamim but Ishant continues to leak runs from the other end.

In the next over, Tamim flays a short ball from Ishant over point for a four and then takes a single on the leg side.

Bangladesh are off to a good start as they reach 30 for no loss in eight overs.
