India 380-3 (96 ovs) vs B'desh | Scorecard

Taskin Ahmed to bowl the first of the second day and facing him is Kohli, who eased his way to 111 on Day 1.

The India captain picks another easy single in the covers off the second ball before Ajinkya Rahane faces a run out appeal as the short leg fielder flicks the ball back to the stumps but the batsman is back in the crease.

Rahane plays a nice cover drive for a single to the fielder in the deep off the fourth ball as two runs come from the first over of the day.

The experienced Shakib Al Hasan comes on from the other end. Rahane picks a single before Kohli turns a ball on his pads fine on the leg side for a couple and gets another single off the last ball.

Taskin bowls a short ball as Kohli opens his arms and lofts it behind square on the off-side, beating the fielder in the deep for a four.

The next ball is again short and wide and this time Kohli smashes it to the right of the fielder at deep point for another boundary.

Bangladesh show their defensive intent as they look to hold one end up with Shakib, who is only bowling on the stumps and not trying to do much. Rahane looks keen to keep the momentum going but is unable to find the gaps as he plays out a maiden from Shakib.

Kohli looking in ominous touch and Bangladesh can only hope and pray at this stage. He again plays that beautiful cover drive as the fielder in the deep does well to stop it inches inside the ropes and keep it down to two. But no stopping the straight drive as Kohli punches a full delivery back past the bowler for another cracking boundary.

India are scoring at a good rate, having made 20 runs in the first five overs on Day 2, to take their score to 376 for three in 95 overs with Kohli on 129 and Rahane on 47.

In the next over, ahane is gifted a full toss from Shakib which he lofts over midwicket for a four to bring up his 10th half-century in Test cricket in some style, from 73 balls.
