So India have finally declared their first innings on a massive 687 for six in 166 overs, scoring at more than four runs per over through their innings.

Saha was unbeaten on a fine innings of 106, while Jadeja entertained during his brisk knock of 60 as the duo were involved in an unbroken stand of 118 runs for the seventh wicket.

This is India's fifth highest total in Test matches as they once again underlined their domination at home.

The Indian batting might came to the fore with captain Virat Kohli led from the front with a majestic 204, while Vijay stroked 108 with Pujara (83) and Rahane (82) hitting half-centuries.
