Saha hits half-century to take India past 600

Shakib bowls a poor delivery, short and wide, as Saha smashes it through point for a four. A couple of singles before Saha pulls a short ball on the leg side for two runs and then hits the last ball through the off-side for another couple as India get 10 runs from the over.

Saha paddles Taijul fine on the leg side for three runs as Jadeja does well to make his crease at the striker's end.

In the next over, he punches another short delivery through the covers for a four as Saha takes his score to 70.

That boundary also takes India past the 600-run mark, in the 147th over.

Saha looks to sweep Hasan but misses and is struck in front of the stumps. The umpire turns down the appeal for LBW and immediately Bangladesh take the DRS.

There is no edge spotted on the Ultra Edge but the impact is outside the off-stump which means that the decision stays with the umpire's call and Saha lives on.

Saha is fast approaching his century as he guides Taijul past thirdman region for three runs.

Saha has shown good intent in this innings and kept up the tempo after Kohli's departure. He has got the boundaries regularly and in the interim has been sensible enough to keep the runs coming through singles and twos.
