Jadeja drops it short as Smith pulls it over midwicket for a four before he keeps strike with a single from the last ball.

Umesh makes way for off-spinner Jayant as Smith inside edges the first ball for two runs on the leg side and then takes a run.

Jayant errs with his length as Marsh cuts it past point for a four. Meanwhile, Jadeja gets one to bounce off length as the left-hander somehow defends it on the leg side.

Marsh looks to sweep Jayant but misses the shot as India employ a fielder at leg slip to stop him playing the shot.

But Marsh tries the shot again and he misses it yet again but it goes off the back of his bat and is caught at leg slip.

Poor batting from Marsh as he went for the sweep yet again despite a fielder being moved leg slip and cost Australia another wicket.

New batsman Peter Handscomb turns the last ball fine on the leg side for two runs to get off the mark.
