Renshaw flicks Ashwin on the leg side for a single before new batsman Mitchell Starc tries a heave on the leg side but fails to make proper connection.

Umesh getting a fair amount of reverse as Renshaw looks to defend one outside the off-stump which moves away and goes past the edge of the bat. However, two balls later he flicks one fine on the leg side for a four.

Ashwin strikes with the key wicket of Renshaw as this time he finally gets the edge and is caught by Vijay at second slip after a superb innings of 68.

He faced a testing spell in the morning session before he had to retire because of a stomach bug. The 20-year-old resumed batting in the post-lunch session and batted bravely to score a half-century to help Australia close in on the 200-run mark.

Turn and bounce for Ashwin as Renshaw could not do much about it and ended up getting the edge.

Steven O'Keefe is beaten by one which turns big and right across him as it goes fine on the leg side for two leg byes.
