Aus 250-9 (90 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Ashwin beats Starc with another one which turns miles and goes past the outside the edge. Two balls later, the left-hander slog sweeps it high over midwicket for a six but is unable to take a single from the last ball which would have helped him keep strike for the next over.

So India have taken the second new ball after 83.5 overs as Umesh bowls it down the leg side.

Despite the new ball, India continue with spin from the other end as Jayant comes in from the other end as Starc picks another single.

In the next over, Starc looks to pull a short ball but misses before he slaps an overpitched delivery straight down the ground for a four.

Immediately, Umesh bowls another bouncer which he avoids by swaying out of the way. He then whips Umesh off his hips through midwicket to collect three runs and keep strike.

Starc goes after Jayant again, lofting him straight down the ground for another huge six. Two balls later, he has a heave but can't make proper connection before he takes a single off the fourth ball.

Jayant seems to be struggling with his rhythm as he gets a second warning for running on the pitch.

Finally, Kohli brings back Jadeja and he nearly gets another wicket. He gets one to spin sharply as Starc gets the inside edge which narrowly misses the stumps and goes behind for a four. Two balls later, he heaves it down the ground, wide of the long-on for another boundary.

He swings again off the fifth ball, hitting it high over long-on for another six.

Starc is playing a valuable hand with the bat, having raced to 43 from 39 balls before stealing a quick single off the last ball to keep strike.

India seem to have run out of plans against Starc's counter attack as he brings back Ishant. Starc has another wild swing but gets it wide of long-on for a four.

He pulls the next ball in thumping fashion for a four behind square to race to his fifty from just 47 balls, having hit five fours and three sixes.

Starc's counter attack has taken Australia to 250 in 90 overs.

The 10-wicket partnership has so far added 45 runs from 49 balls and Hazlewood is yet to score a run.
