Aus 82-1 (28 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Ashwin must be feeling a bit frustrated, he has tried everything, beaten the bat so many times already but that first wicket has not yet come. He tries the quicker delivery which slips down the leg side and Renshaw guides it fine for a four.

In the next over, Warner looks to slog sweep Jadeja but fails to make proper connection for a single on the leg side.

Renshaw gives Jadeja the charge but is unable to get it away before he comes down again and heaves it through midwicket for a four.

Warner sweeps Ashwin for a single to fine leg as Renshaw again defends confidently before the bowler and captain Kohli have a long chat.

Extraordinary shot from Warner as he slaps one from Jadeja through deep square leg for a four before he steals a quick single on the off-side.

Renshaw then comes down the track and lofts Jadeja over long-on for a six.

Australia are looking to be aggressive against Jadeja and disrupt his rhythm. India definitely feeling the pressure as they have been unable to get any wicket so far on a wicket offering a lot of assistance to the spinners.

Ashwin gets another one to turn as Warner is beaten again as he looks to defend off the backfoot and he repeats it a couple of deliveries later, that was virtually unplayable as Saha does well to collect it.

Ashwin follows it up with a full toss which Warner sweeps through square leg for a four.

Jadeja hits Renshaw on the pads as the Indians appeal but it has come off an inside edge.

In the next over, Ashwin strikes Warner on the pads as he looks to defend but umpire Richard Kettleborough turns down the appeal. Ashwin has a chat with captain Kohli before deciding not to take the DRS.

Warner then comes down the track and nearly chips it back to the bowler but it falls just short. Warner then walks across and paddles it fine on the leg side for another single.

Finally, Kohli decides to bring in Umesh Yadav, who has been India's most consistent fast bowler through the last few months in home Test matches.

He starts off with a no-ball before he strikes two balls later with the key wicket of Warner. The left-hander, who made 38 from 77 balls, goes after a wide delivery but gets an inside edge which goes back on to the stumps.

A good innings from Warner as he provides Australia with a solid foundation by putting on 82 runs for the opening wicket with Renshaw.

Australia have lost another batsmen as Renshaw retires with illness, possibly suffering from a stomach bug after a good innings of 36.

Steve Smith walks out to the middle and is joined by Shaun Marsh as they face a testing few overs before the lunch break.
