LUNCH - DAY 2

India 70-3 (25 ovs) vs Aus 260 | Scorecard

A good morning session for Australia as they claimed a few early wickets to reduce India to 70 for three in 25 overs at the lunch break.

Rahul was unbeaten on a good innings of 47, having hit seven fours and a six in his 80-ball knock, while Rahane was not out on six.

Starc, who hit a quickfire 61 with the bat, caused the damage with the ball with the wickets of Pujara and Kohli in a single over for six and duck respectively.

Murali Vijay was caught behind off Hazelwood for 10 as the pacers caused maximum damage with the ball for Australia.

Earlier, Australia were bowled out for 260 with Starc dismissed in the first over of the day, caught at deep midwicket off Ashwin.

With five specialists batsmen in their team, India would hope Rahul and Rahane can stitch a big partnership and guide the team out of trouble.
