As expected, India open the bowling with Ravichandran Ashwin,who strikes in his first over with the wicket of David Warner.

Australia had Shaun Marsh to open the batting in place of Matt Renshaw, who is down with a stomach bug.

Warner was looking to be positive as he reverse swept the second ball from Ashwin through thirdman for a four.

Two balls later, he swept it powerfully through square leg for another boundary before Ashwin got revenge.

Warner was struck on the pads by one which went straight on and the LBW appeal was upheld. Interestingly, Warner decides not to review the decision and walks off straightaway.

Spin from both ends as Ravindra Jadeja comes on from the other end. Shaun Marsh watchfully defends the second over of the innings.
