India 152-4 (23 ovs) vs England 350-7 | Scorecard

India are doing well to keep the scoreboard ticking as for the second successive over bowled by Ball they manage to pick six runs without hitting any boundary.

Jadhav pulls a short ball from Rashid over midwicket for a couple and then pulls the next square on the leg side for a four.

India are 132 for four in 20 overs with Jadhav racing to 39 from 21 balls and Kohli on 55 from 53 balls. They need another 219 runs from 30 overs for victory.

Spin from both ends as Moeen Ali comes into the attack. Jadhav continues to get the boundaries as he plays the square cut to a short wide delivery from Ali for a four.

Part-time Root replaces Rashid, who has gone for 26 runs in his three overs. Kohli has slowed down considerably allowing Jadhav to do the bulk of the scoring runs as he takes a chance or two, while getting boundaries regularly.

Without too much of a fuss, they pick Root for seven runs in his first over. Jadhav then takes a single off the first ball of Moeen's next over to race to his fifty from just 29 balls and gets a huge cheer from his home fans.

The partnership is worth 89 runs and it has come from 67 balls to revive India's innings after a few early wickets.
