India 86-2 (19 ovs) vs WI 205-9 | Scorecard

Kohli getting increasingly confident out in the middle. Bishoo gives some width and Kohli is quick to slap it past point for a four.

In the next over, the India captain is quick to steal a second run after the bowler Williams fails to stop the throw cleanly as four runs come from the over.

The runs are coming quite easily for the Indians as they collect another three runs off the next over, bowled by Bishoo.

In Bishoo's next over, Rahane gets a lifeline as he comes down the track and looks to heave the leg-spinner on the leg side. He is lucky that he gets an inside edge which beats the wicketkeeper and gets him four runs. India follow it up with four more singles to get eight runs from the over.

Kohli glances Williams fine on the leg side for a four to take his score into the 40s and also go past Rahane, but the India captain has also had majority of the strike since he has walked out to the middle.

Against the run of play, India lose the wicket of Rahane, who is trapped leg before wicket by Bishoo for 39, after putting on 79 runs for the second wicket with Kohli. Rahane made the mistake of playing all over a full delivery which went straight on and caught him right in front of the stumps.

New batsman Dinesh Karthik cuts the first ball he faces for two runs to get off the mark.
