India 178-4 (43 ovs) vs WI | Scorecard

Rahane comes down the track to Bishoo and hits him to sweeper cover for a single. Dhoni looks to give the charge before he backtracks as Bishoo bowls a wide. He waits in his crease and smashes the next ball back powerfully over the bowler's head for a four.

The last ball is wide as Dhoni gets it off the toe end of the bat for a single to long-off as 10 come from Bishoo's final over, who finishes with excellent figures of one for 38 in 10 overs.

Debutant pacer Kesrick Williams comes back. He does well to vary his pace and keep the batsmen down the six singles in his sixth over.

Cummins comes in from the other end and he starts with a wide on the off-side. Rahane hits the next ball over the off-side for a couple before he perishes off the next trying another lofted shot.

He cuts it square on the off-side as Bishoo in the deep makes good ground and takes a superb diving catch.

Rahane walks back after a patient innings of 72 from 112 balls, having hit four fours and a six, putting on 70 runs for the fourth wicket with Dhoni.

Despite the wicket Dhoni not holding back as he looks to scoop the next ball over fine leg but gets only two runs. He steers the next ball past point for a four and keeps a yorker out for one before Kedar Jadhav takes a run from the last ball.

A jump in the scoring rate for India with 27 coming from the last three overs with India reaching 178 for four in 43 overs as the scoring rate finally crosses the four-run per over mark.
