Aus 269-7 (118 ovs) vs India 189 | Scorecard

Starc again playing a vital innings with the bat. He guides Ashwin through the slips for a couple before he tries the sweep again but misses. The last ball turns and bounces as Starc is hit on the gloves but there is no one at silly point to take the catch.

Ishant bowls it fuller as Wade gets the edge which goes past the slips and goes for a four despite a desperate dive from Pujara on the thirdman boundary to take Australia past the 250-run mark.

Ashwin continues to bowl outside the leg stump as the turn beats Starc's flick and it goes past the wicketkeeper for two byes. Two balls later, Ashwin has a LBW appeal turned down against Starc as India's frustration continues to grow.

Ravindra Jadeja comes into the attack in place of Ishant. Wade paddle sweeps Jadeja for a single to fine leg before Starc collects a quiet single on the off-side. Another single for Wade before Starc gets the edge which goes to thirdman for two runs.

Ashwin's line outside the leg stump is easily to deal with for the Australians as Wade plays out a maiden over.

In the next over, he comes down the track to Jadeja and drives him down the ground past mid-off for a four.

Ashwin has a huge appeal for caught behind off Starc as he looks to cut and the umpire gives it out but the batsman immediately takes the DRS. And there is nothing on the Ultra Edge which means the original decision is overturned.

But Ashwin gets his man a few deliveries later as Starc swings Ashwin over midwicket but Jadeja does well to take a good catch near the boundary.
