India 24-0 (5 ovs) & 189 vs Aus 276 | Scorecard

India's openers -- KL Rahul and Abhinav Mukund -- have a big task on hand. They have a huge task first up, facing the dangerous Mitchell Starc, who has a habit of picking up early wickets.

Rahul turns the first ball on the leg side for a single to get off the mark. Mukund has a nervous poke off the next ball as he chases a wide one but is beaten before he gets a bye off the next as the ball stays quite low.

Starc gets one to swing in big, the inswinging yorker, which comes in sharply but the inside edge saves KL Rahul. The pacer loses his line with the next ball as Rahul glances it fine on the leg side for a four before he keeps strike with a single from the last ball.

Rahul standing outside his crease to Hazlewood as he punches a full delivery straight down the ground for his second four. He then turns the fifth ball on the leg side for one before Mukund gets off the mark with a couple through midwicket.

Starc bowls a full delivery outside the off-stump to Mukund, who lets it go but watches the ball go along the ground to wicketkeeper Wade. The last ball is a full toss which Mukund clips through midwicket for his first boundary which should make him feel good after a duck in the first innings.

Mukund doing well to play the ball late and though the uneven bounce is giving him some trouble, he is looking to get behind the ball and play with caution.

Starc goes round the wicket as he drifts a bit wide and Rahul steers it past gully for a couple before he gets one on the leg side and Mukund picks one from the last ball.

This is a good start from India as they reach 24 for no loss in five overs.
